Tribute to Oom Sakkie.

Belmont Park Nhw together with other Nhw’s in Sector3 went to pay tribute to Oom Sakkie and his family. He was dedicated community man, who will be dearly missed.  In his honour we did a patrol in the sector.

2 September 2023

Belmont Park NHW had another fundraising event to keep us going for continued patrols and equipment.

As before we stopped all pre-orders on Thursday.  However, we still got orders in early hours of Friday morning. This make it very difficult to accommodate everyone.  Also orders were send to the wrong phone number.  All in all, it went ok. We welcome any feedback that can be send to admin of the Belmont Park Safety Group.

26 August 2023

Belmont Park NHW, together with other NHW's in sector 3 as well as other Sectors were part of Capt Niemand's Funeral procession.

29 July 2023

We had our fundraiser again to increase patrols. We once again tried the ordering method. We included the sales of Hamburgers.

All orders stopped on Thursday, so that we had enough time to do the admin and order the amount of stock to fulfil our orders. The event was a success with a few teething issues, like the rain and few cancellations, but we managed. We also introduced the sale of cookies and special made up sausage packs. We would like to thank the community for their support.

27 May 2023

We had our fundraiser again. We want to have load shedding patrols. We also tried only ordering the Boerewors Roll.

4 March 2023
Sector3 Subforum Nhw's Belmont Park, Crime Watch and Peerless Park as well as SAPS assisted Simonsberg Primary in their Colour Run activity.

Capt. was able to take the fingerprints of potential new members.  Had a couple of parking issues School staff was also placed at strategic turn points in the route. Event was successful and our visibility and that of SAPS was greatly appreciated.

25 February 2023

We had our fundraiser again. We need Bibs and equipment for our bigger members as well as our new members.

We also find out about that we require an Acceptability Certificate. We made sure that we met the requirements for this certificate so that we can legally sell our boerewors rolls and met with the health regulations as well as safety regulations. In short conforming to basic food safety and hygiene requirements

We also would like to thank everyone for their support.

28 January 2023

Neighbourhood Watch awareness Operation in Scottsville and Peerless Park West

28 May 2022
Belmontpark Neighbourhood Watch Fundraising with same Rolls as last time and yet again we tried different Sausages.

We tried pre- orders. It worked pretty fine except we learnt that when you order 4 rolls and 4 Bashews and you do not mention what sauces, it could be a problem 🙂
All in all it was a great day for the NHW and we appreciated the support we got.
At one stage we opened a Drive Thru.

30 April 2022
We had a NHW awarenes Operation in Belmont Park and Eikendal

The Sector 3 Neighbourhood Watches together with SAPS and some of our local security handed out pamphlets in community and went to search for a hiding place of perpertrators.  We finished the event with a pic nic under the trees with Fish&Chip Parcels, rolls and Cold drinks

Belmontpark Neighbourhood Watch Fundraising with same Rolls as last time but with different Sausages.

When ever our funds dry up , we rely on community to assist in raising funds for more patrols.  This time we were together with SAPS and other Sector 3 NHW’s to raise awareness of protecting your car against thieves.

Belmontpark Neighbourhood Watch Fundraising.

We were running low on money for patrolling, so we decided to sell Boere wors rolls going again.  I have to admit our Braai Maasters did a superb job.  We also threw in free deliveries.
